The WTCR 2020 revised schedule has been confirmed, which contested over 16 races in 6 rounds in Europe. Originally schedule designed to be played more than 20 races in 10 rounds, but because of coronavirus outbreak, it was changed.

With the cooperation and approval of FIA, the season-opening round will begin on 12-13 September 2020 at the Salzburgring in Austria and will conclude on 14-15 November 2020.

In the new schedule announcement, Hungaroring was originally scheduled for March was canceled due to the global Covid-19 pandemic. It will be back in 2020, as is the round on the Nordschleife in support of the ADAC 24 Hours race. Since the resurrection of the WTCC in 2005, this season first time World Touring Cars will no longer travel to Asia.

The Ningbo in China, Inje Speedium in South Korea, Macau, and Sepang in Malaysia will not be played this year because of the coronavirus outbreak. See the complete 2020 WTCR revised schedule.
