Due to coronavirus pandemic, the NASCAR Cup series was stopped for two months, but on 17 May 2020, the action returned at Darlington Speedway to start a revised schedule. Currently, the events will be held behind closed doors without spectators. The last normal race was Fan Shield 500 that took place on 8 March 2020.
Kyle Busch clinched his second NASCAR Cup title by winning the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November. The 2020 season first race was the Busch Clash in Daytona which was played on 9 February at Daytona International Speedway. This was the 72nd season of the NASCAR race.
In December, for the preparation of season 2020, NASCAR signed, Geico, Busch Beer, Coca-Cola, and Xfinity as the company's Premier associates. In spite of the new associations, the Cup Series 2020 will currently have no title sponsor, it will only be known as the NASCAR Cup Series.
Spectators are still not allowed to come to the stadium to enjoy the live event, however, NASCAR shifted the All-Star races from Charlotte Motor Speedway to Bristol Motor Speedway on July 15 and will have up to 30,000 audiences at the occasions. The horde would be used by 20%. See the below complete NASCAR Cup Series revised schedule 2020.
